The question I get asked regarding armbands and swimming lessons. This is just my opinion. There are pros and cons to them. They are just for keeping your child safe in and around water while been supervised. I don’t believe in teaching any child to swim with armbands on. I feel it just delays the progress that the swimmer can make without the armbands.
